  1. Find out how birds stay warm during cold winters during a special hike through King Gillette Ranch beginning at 8:30 a.m. Bring binocu­lars and warm clothes. Use the temporary entrance 200 yards past the main gate. Meet in main parking lot. Admission is $7.
  2. Winter camps are coming to the Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center from Dec. 19-23. Kids can take courses in Lego animation, clay animation, "disgusting Science," and a chance to sign up for a basketball camp. Call 818-880-2993 for more information.
