The popular sushi chain Sugarfish is currently under construction at The Commons and is expected to open this spring, according to a report in LA Weekly.
The eatery will replace La Salsa, which closed over the summer.
The restaurant was originally launched in 2008 by Kazunori Nozawa, who ran Sushi Nozawa in Studio City, the report said.
