Sen. Pavley to Host Child Car Safety Seat Check

Pavley, joined by the California Highway Patrol and the Department of Motor Vehicles, will will hold this special event at the Agoura Hills Civic Center on Saturday.

State Senator Fran Pavley (D-Agoura Hills) will be joined by the California Highway Patrol, the Northridge Hospital Pediatric Unit and the California Department of Motor Vehicles at a child car seat safety event on Saturday, Aug. 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Agoura Hills Civic Center parking lot located at 30001 Ladyface Court.

The event features child car safety seat checks by the CHP who will demonstrate the proper way to secure seats. Pavley will update constituents on child safety legislation and other activities, including the ability for parents to sign their children up for child identification cards. Other resources and information about child safety will be available.
