Sun Sets Concert Series in Full Swing

The Hodads take the stage at Calabasas Lake for the second installment of the concert series and perform for an audience of about 300 residents.

Families laid out their picnic blankets, ate and danced to the music of The Hodads at Calabasas Lake on Sunday.

About 300 people attended the performance, the second installment in this year's Sun Sets summer concert series.

Live performances featuring other acts will be held every other week through August and remain free and open to the public, said Amee Haber one of the event organizers.

The city of Calabasas has allocated $60,000 for events such as these, said Councilwoman Mary Sue Maurer.

There has been an increase in attendance due to families facing tough economic times and seeking affordable entertainment, she added.
