The 10th annual Topanga Canyon Artists’ Studio Tour provides a rare, intimate view of the artists and their work during the creative process in the most unique and inspiring settings.  During the two-day event, visitors can explore private studios, talk with the artists about works in progress, and acquire pieces directly from the studios.  There will be over 20 art studios to visit on this self-guided tour that begins at Topanga Canyon Gallery.  On display will be paintings, sculpture, ceramics, digital art, photography, mixed media, custom jewelry and more from traditional to contemporary and from representational to abstract.

“The Topanga Canyon Gallery Studio Tour is a great opportunity to experience the Topanga community in all its aspects, from rural beginnings to counterculture and New Age experimentation to cutting-edge modernism," says Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky,

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door for both days and children under 16 are free.  There will also be a silent auction at the gallery reception Saturday, June 11th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Monies raised will help support the gallery that is dedicated to promoting local art and culture in the canyon.

With recent exhibitions juried by Laddie John Dill, Chris Burden and Rita Albuquerque, the Topanga Canyon Gallery remains an artist-owned and run collective established in the 1960’s and re-opened at its current site in 2000.  In addition to our Topanga artists, we also have our Valley and surrounding Los Angeles artists represented at various locations.

Topanga Canyon is a unique and inspiring backdrop to the weekend’s tour.  The artists’ interpretations of local sites eloquently mirror the breathtaking landscapes outside your car windows as you drive from studio to studio.  Topanga Canyon Gallery is located at 120 N. Topanga Canyon Blvd., #109, Topanga 90290 and is open Wednesday to Saturday from 10 - 6 and Sundays 11 – 5.  You can reach the gallery at 310-455-7909 or at www.topangacanyongallery.com.
