Celebrate National Night Out at Calabasas Lake Concert

The Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff and the City of Calabasas are encouraging community members to participate in the August 12 National Night Out by locking their doors, turning on outside lights, and spending the evening outdoors with their neighbors at the Calabasas Lake Concert featuring the Latin Music of Combolux.

Communities throughout the nation will participate in National Night Out with cookouts, neighborhood block parties, and other special events to promote neighborhood spirit as well as enhance police-community partnerships. "This is a unique opportunity for residents to get to meet our local deputies and learn about what their typical day is like or to just take a minute to share their gratitude for their service to Calabasas,” said Calabasas Mayor Mary Sue Maurer.

Representatives from the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station will be on hand at the concert which begins at 6:00 p.m. and includes free parking and admission. Enter at the Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center at 23400 Park Sorrento. Visit www.cityofcalabasas.com for more information.
