Agoura Hills Author Signs Book About Her Connection With The Other Side

Terri Lynne, author of Wing Passed on, shares her personal journey of spirituality and serendipity to a large crowd in Calabasas on Friday.

Local author Terri Lynne signed copies of her book Wings Passed On at the Friday night. With her husband, Al, and children, Brandon Murray and Brittany Maurae, by her side, she discussed her personal journey before an attentive audience of 120 people.

Lynne's book, 20 years in the making, chronicles her "gift of awakening, reflecting on how she made her connection with the other side." Wings Passed On is her own story, and she told the audience she wants nothing more than for her readers to be similarly inspired by what she calls "whispers from heaven and signs that surround us every day that guide us through life." The book's pages are filled with inspirational quotes, poetry and personal reflections.

Lynne calls herself an "ordinary girl with an extraordinary gift," she told the crowd. She said for many years, she was confused as to whether or not the her special ability was truly a blessing or a curse. This gift, according to Lynne, is her ability to hear loved ones speaking to her from heaven.

After her beloved grandmother, Sara, passed away 20 years ago, Lynne said that she felt her grandmother has since become her spirit guide. The key, according to Lynne, is that you have to pay attention to the signs and the whispers from all around.

To site an example of life’s serendipity, Lynne noted that she and her friend, Monica Ernst, used to share angel stones as a sign of love and friendship. Ernst, who announced her engagement at Friday’s event, told Lynne that her betrothed, Jay Wiktorski, had found an angel marker on the beach just prior to their meeting. Lynne and Ernst had always felt it was a sign, according to Lynne.

”Life is a windy, twisty road," said Wiktorski.

Wayne Colmer and his wife, Roberta, were on hand for the book-signing.  “She's always had a gift for writing and always saw things a little bit differently than everybody else," said Colmer.

"Terri Lynne has shared with me her connecting with the other side, and I'm here today because I'm really interested in reading her story,” said guest Nanci Powers,

Lynne became emotional when giving credit to her countless supporters on her road to becoming a published author. Among them she credits Victoria Powells Conway and Michelle Burson., best friends since 4th grade. Powells once told Lynne, "This is who you are, this is who you've always been. You need to finish this and let world recognize who you are." Burson guided her through the business aspects of getting word out about Lynne's book, including the website TLWhispers.com.

Lynne's book is available for sale on Amazon.com. Lynne is also working on formating her book to be carried by Kindle. In addition to the book, Wings Passed On, the song, "The Angel in Me," also written by Lynne, can be downloaded from Amazon.com.
