School District Programs Receive $100K to Support Science Program

The check was given to the school district from the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District.

At a September 24 meeting, the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District board of directors presented a check for $107,000 to Las Virgenes Unified School District officials in support of the fourth and fifth grade science education program.

A portion of the curriculum focuses on water science, pollution prevention, conservation and water recycling.
