TreePeople to Plant Oak Trees as Part of National Service Day

The planting will take place at parks along the Las Virgenes and Malibu Creek habitats in the Santa Monica Mountains.

Volunteers will plant oak tress and native bunch grasses in the Santa Monica Mountains as part of National Service Day.

The service project will take place all day Saturday, Jan. 19, according to organizers.

Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes, a hat, sunscreen, work gloves, water, snacks and a lunch.

Directions will be supplied upon RSVP at 323-761-0680, and only a limited amount of slots are available.
