Ready to Go Art Shopping? Fine Arts Festival Coming Up

The Calabasas Fine Arts Festival offers a wide variety of genres of art.

From a city of Calabasas press release:

The 17th Annual Calabasas Fine Arts Festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday May 3 & 4, 2014 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Calabasas Civic Center and the Commons at Calabasas shopping center.

Admission and parking are free for this wonderful event featuring 150 painters, jewelers, potters, sculptors, photographers, glass artists, woodworkers and more.

“We are so lucky in Calabasas to have world-class artists gathered in our City every  year for a weekend in May,” said Calabasas Mayor David J. Shapiro. “This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to meet and talk with the artists as well as buy fine art-- and it’s a convenient time to pick up gifts for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and that special graduate.”

The Calabasas Fine Arts Festival offers a wide variety of genres of art and features a number of returning artists along with an exciting list of new artisans. Fine dining restaurants, live musical performances and free youth craft activities complement this wonderful weekend with the arts!

The Calabasas Civic Center is located off the Parkway Calabasas exit from the 101 freeway at 100/200 Civic Center Way and the Commons at Calabasas is located next door.
