Get Out: A Weekend Guide

Check out our picks for things to do this weekend.

The weekend's coming, and if you don't have plans for it yet, Patch can help. Here's a list of events and activities taking place not too far away! We haven't included too many Halloween-themed events here because we'll also feature a separate guide for those activities.

Julius Ceasar: Griot Theatre presents its inaugural production, Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. Employing women and artists of color in non-traditional roles, this production is set against the backdrop of Game of Thrones to create a fresh and compelling take on this classical work. Shows are at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at Bethel Lutheran Church, 17500 Burbank Blvd., Encino. Tickets are 25.

Conejo Open Space Trail Work Day: The Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency will host its 22nd annual trail work day from 7:30 a.m. to noon Saturday. Meet at the Conejo Community Center at 350 W. Gainsborough Road, Thousand Oaks (enter through the botanic garden entrance at Jeaunine Drive and Gainsborough Road). No experience necessary!
