Calabasas elementary and middle school students have the opportunity to enter a citywide drawing contest, but the deadline for the competition is coming soon.
Fourteen winners of the contest, which has a "Benefits of Bottles and Cans Recycling" theme, will each receive a $25 gift certificate and have their drawings featured in the city's 2013 Community Recycling Awareness Calendar.
Drawings must be on 8.5" by 11" card stock paper in landscape format. No computer-generated entries are allowed. Find entry forms like the one to the right on the City of Calabasas website home page, fill them one out and send it, along with your art, to City of Calabasas, Environmental Services, 100 Civic Center Way, Calabasas, CA 91302.
