Nationally renowned organic turf grass educator Chip Osborne will present the “Natural Lawn and Turf Management Training” on Jan. 28 & 29 at Malibu City Hall, Zuma Room, Malibu, CA from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.Geared towards all horticultural professionals, this two-day program will cover aspects of how to transition properties from conventional programs using synthetic and chemical products to a natural organic system. The program will cover the history of conventional management; what the systems approach entails; grass genetics; the soil environment and fertility; products and their role in a natural program; managing transition periods; cultural practices; and practical strategies for customer and end user satisfaction.
