Since the beginning of the year we have been traveling to several senior centers throughout our communities to spread some joy, while also spending some quality time with the people there. This time around we found ourselves at Southland Care Center in Norwalk.
We decided to host a Mardi Gras event because the previous ones which we hosted were all quite successful. Lots of supplies are needed for this one: markers, ribbon, glues, glitters, studs, stencils and paper plates. It is always our honor to sponsor these events and it means the world to us that people actually attend them. We hoped that everyone there would have a blast with us and let their creativity flow as they decorated their masks. Just as with the previous events, the seniors here had so much fun, as did we.
