Pumpkin Festival Set for This Weekend in Calabasas
Children of all ages will be invited to enjoy carnival games, a pinewood derby race, a mummy wrap contest, pumpkin pie eating contests, live entertainment and reptile and nature shows.
The Calabasas Pumpkin Festival is set to return later this week.
The festival, which is put on by the Calabasas Chamber of Commerce and the City of Calabasas, is set for Oct. 20-21 at Juan Bautista de Anza Park in Calabasas. Tickets cost $5 at the door, and children under 2 are free.

The festival, which started in 1972, will also feature pumpkin carving demos, arts & crafts, pumpking seed spitting contest, a car show, a beer and wine garden and a "Main Street" showcasing a business district and fun zone, Karl said.
Pumpkins will also be available for purchase at the pumpkin patch.

Parking is free and a shuttle service will be available.
