The Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival opens Thursday, with movies showing at Laemmle Theaters in Encino, Beverly Hills and Pasadena, and a screening at in Tarzana.
The Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival (LAJFF) "builds community awareness, appreciation and pride in the diversity of the Jewish people through film," according to its website.
