Artists, friends and newcomers filled the Ensele Art Gallery in Calabasas Thursday night to raise funds for the relief effort in Japan.

Most artists donated 100 percent of the profit from their first piece sold and one third of the profits from their second artwork sold to the Red Cross, Art Director Barbara Hollander said.

The gallery holds charity events regularly, with an upcoming event benefiting the Kidney Foundation.

For more on the evening take a look at our video coverage.
