Last Day to Submit Comments on Legislative Boundaries

The California Citizens Redistricting Commission is collecting public testimony through 5 p.m. on Monday.

Monday is the deadline for submitting public testimony to a state agency about potential boundary changes for state congressional, assembly, senate and board of equalization districts.

The 14-member California Citizens Redistricting Commission will then author its first draft of congressional maps, which will be made public on June 10. A second draft and a final draft are to be released on July 7 and July 28, respectively.

Public hearings will be held between each draft publication.
