5 Things You Need to Know Today: Feb. 7

Kids Club at Sagebrush Cantina, the Environmental Commission meets and kids eat free after 4 p.m. at Johnny Rockets.

 
  1. It's all about plate spinning and yoyo tricks at this week's installement of Kids Club at the Sagebrush Cantina. The free event begins at 6 p.m. A kids-free-eat special is also available all night long.
  2. Sandy Duncan, an A.C. Stelle Middle School teacher, will be presented with the Carl Gibbs Environmental Excellence Award during this week's Environmental Commission meeting. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. inside City Hall.
  3. Kids can eat for free at Johnny Rockets after 4 p.m.
  4. The Rotary Club of Calabasas meets at the Canyon Sports Grill at 12:10 p.m. New members are always welcome.
  5. Expect rain all day with a high of 61, according to the National Weather Service.
